Cartier reports cybersecurity breach affecting clients

Cartier notified clients of a cybersecurity incident where unauthorized parties accessed customer information through its website. Leaked data includes names, email addresses, and countries or regions, but excludes passwords, credit card details, or bank information. The company took immediate containment steps, strengthened systems, and is working with external cybersecurity experts and regulators. Cartier China’s customer service confirmed the reach to Economic View, clarifying affected customers span multiple global markets. This adds to growing cyberattacks targeting major brands. Dior, Adidas, and VF Corporation’s The North Face have since April reported similar breaches.
