Hermès plans new French tableware factory
French luxury brand Hermès has announced plans to open a new Beyrand factory in Couzeix, France, in 2027, dedicated to producing tableware. Covering 13,000 sqm and designed by architect François Bucholz, the facility will feature wood and glass construction, 2,800 sqm of solar panels, and thermal energy recovery systems. The factory is expected to employ 300 people within two years. In 2024, Hermès reported 15.2 billion euros ($16.5 billion) in revenue, a 15% increase at constant exchange rates.
