Maria Grazia Chiuri leaves Dior after 10 years
Dior has announced that Maria Grazia Chiuri is stepping down as artistic director of its women’s collections, marking the end of her nearly 10-year tenure. Chiuri joined Dior in 2016, becoming the first woman to hold the role in the brand’s history. Known for her strong feminist narratives and signature designs, she helped propel Dior'’ commercial success and brand influence. According to HSBC data, Dior’s annual revenue grew from 2.2 billion euros ($2.4 billion) in 2017 to 9 billion euros ($9.8 billion) in 2023 under her leadership.
