Porsche tops luxury brand rankings for 8th year
According to Brand Finance’s 2025 Global Luxury and Premium Brand Value Ranking, the world’s top 50 luxury and premium brands hold a combined value of $317 billion, with French brands contributing nearly half. Germany’s Porsche remained the world’s most valuable luxury brand for the eighth straight year, valued at $41.15 billion despite a 4.6% drop due to weaker China and Europe demand. Chanel jumped 45.4% to $37.91 billion, overtaking Louis Vuitton ($32.92 billion) for the first time. The top 10 includes Hermès (4th), Rolex (5th), Dior (6th), Cartier (7th), Ferrari (8th), Gucci (9th), and Guerlain (10th). Brand Finance noted luxury brand growth has slowed as consumers shift toward experience-driven luxury.
