Arc’teryx has officially launched China’s first world-class climbing crag at Shegeng Cave in Fengshan, Guangxi, and unveiled the country’s first 5.15b-rated sport climbing route, named “She Diao.” The achievement fills a longstanding gap in China’s top-tier climbing infrastructure and marks a major step forward for the nation’s rock climbing scene. Located within the Leye-Fengshan Unesco Global Geopark, the site is known for its unique karst formations. Supported by Arc’teryx, an international team spent over a year creating more than 110 routes, ranging from 5.11 to 5.15 difficulty levels.
