Arc’teryx owner reports strong China growth in Q1

Amer Sports, owned by Anta and listed on the NYSE, reported a 23% YoY revenue increase to $1.47 billion in Q1 2025, with adjusted net profit tripling to $148 million. Greater China led regional growth with revenue up 43% to $446 million. Arc’teryx continued to drive the functional outdoor apparel segment, which grew 28% to $664 million, while Salomon’s footwear led the mountain category’s 25% growth to $502 million. Direct-to-consumer sales surged 39%, with a 49% YoY increase in owned retail stores.
