Kosé reports mixed results: Japan rises, China declines

Kosé reported mixed regional results, with Japan revenue up 6% and Asia growing 1.2%, while North America and other markets fell 8.6%. Japan led growth with strong Albion sales rising 26.3%. In China, non-travel retail revenue declined 3.4% due to store reductions and weaker e-commerce, though the market remained profitable. Travel retail plunged 31.2% amid weak duty-free sales in South Korea and Hong Kong. Newly acquired Thai brand Pañpuri contributed to revenue for the first time. For FY2025, Kosé expects overall sales to rise 4.1% and operating profit to grow 15.2%.
