Japanese beauty giant Kosé buys Thai brand Pañpuri

Kosé Corporation has acquired Thai beauty brand Pañpuri. Under the financial terms of the agreement, Pañpuri’s parent company, Puri Co, will become a subsidiary of Kosé. The deal involves 1,062,702 shares and is set to close on December 30. This acquisition aligns with Kosé’s mid-term strategy to drive global business growth by integrating “regional brands.” Pañpuri’s product offerings span fragrances, body care, skincare, home scents, and spa experiences, blending Eastern traditions with ancient Thai cultural influences. The brand primarily operates in high-end malls, hotels, resorts, and travel retail channels in Thailand, and has expanded into markets such as Japan, China, and Europe through online platforms and sales agents.
