Disney plans Abu Dhabi theme park for 2030

Disney has announced plans to open its first Middle East theme park in early 2030 on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island. Revealed by CEO Bob Iger during the island’s 15th anniversary, the project will be Disney’s seventh global resort and first new park in 15 years. Developed by Miral and designed by Disney Imagineers, the park will feature region-specific elements and advanced technologies, highlighting Disney’s expansion despite recent challenges in China.
