According to the Shanghai Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau website, Shanghai International Theme Park Co has received approval for the “Aite” expansion project at Shanghai Disney Resort, covering 5,413 sqm. The project will feature new amusement attractions, six buildings, and landscape development, with a total investment of 2.459 billion RMB ($340 million), adding to previous expansions including “Disney Pixar Toy Story Land” in 2018 and “Zootopia” in December 2023.
