Li Ning marks Earth Day with sustainability pop-up

To mark Earth Day, Chinese sportswear brand Li Ning opened a nature-themed pop-up installation under its LN Nature line from April 20 to 22 at its Taikoo Li Yingjia store in Chengdu. The event featured four sections — Originating from Nature, Naturally Dyed, Nature Reborn, and Back to Nature — highlighting the brand’s environmental initiatives. These include the use of bio-based materials, water-saving dyeing techniques, recycled yarns made from plastic bottles, and biodegradable footwear that breaks down within 180 days in soil. The pop-up also included interactive workshops and Earth Day-themed installations to engage visitors in sustainable practices.
