The other recent closures comprise locations at Beijing Daxing Airport, Taiyuan Wangfujing, and Chengdu Taikoo Li. According to reports, the shuttered stores were primarily operated by third-party distributors, suggesting the brand may be pivoting toward a direct retail model in the Chinese market. According to the brand, Bottega Veneta is strategically refining its retail footprint through renovations, relocations, select consolidations, and new openings, including a store in Beijing's Sanlitun. Notably, Bottega Veneta was the only Kering brand to post revenue growth in 2024.
