Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism announced this week that the number of foreign tourists visiting Thailand from January 1 to March 2 this year has surpassed 7 million, marking a 5.9% YoY increase, with 1.1 million visitors coming from China. Last week, the ministry announced plans to launch a self-funded travel package in May to boost tourism during the country’s low season from May to September.
