Sandro outperforms as parent SMCP posts $25.5M loss

SMCP Group, which owns brands such as Sandro and Maje, reported a decline in organic sales by 1.5% to 1.212 billion euros ($1.29 billion) and a net loss of 24 million euros ($25.5 million) for the 2024 fiscal year. By brand, Sandro performed the best with a 0.6% increase in revenue to 605 million euros ($643 million), while Maje saw a 0.8% decrease to 458 million euros ($490 million). Other divisions, including Claudie Pierlot and Fursac, experienced a revenue drop of 11% to 148 million euros ($158 million). Regionally, all areas except China saw organic growth. The Asia-Pacific market saw a significant decline of 17.7%, with revenues dropping to 208 million euros ($222 million).
