Italian designer Brunello Cucinelli has been named the recipient of the British Fashion Council’s (BFC) Outstanding Achievement Award, which he will receive at the 2025 Fashion Awards on December 1. The BFC Executive Committee recognized Cucinelli for his exceptional contributions to fashion, particularly his pioneering blend of luxury design with a responsible business approach. The award acknowledges Cucinelli’s creative and ethical vision, which has shaped his brand’s operations in the industry. In his statement, Cucinelli expressed honor at receiving the award, dedicating it to future artisans and emphasizing the importance of manual labor and fine craftsmanship. He also thanked outgoing BFC CEO Caroline Rush and chair David Pemsel for their support.
