Arc’teryx drives Amer Sports’ 54% China growth in 2024
Amer Sports reported 18% YoY revenue growth for fiscal year 2024, reaching $5.2 billion, with a net income of $73 million, reversing last year’s loss. The business’ Q4 sales grew 23% to $1.64 billion, driven by significant growth in Greater China (53.7%) and the Asia-Pacific region (45.5%). Arc’teryx led growth, surpassing $2 billion in sales, particularly in footwear and women’s apparel. Wilson’s tennis equipment regained its market lead in the U.S., while Salomon’s footwear continued strong performance. Looking ahead, the company expects growth to continue in 2025, though at a slower rate due to currency fluctuations. The company plans to expand further in 2025, with the opening of 25 to 30 new stores, particularly in North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.
