Hilton has surpassed 800 hotels in China, less than six months after reaching 700 in August 2024. This growth highlights the company’s expanding presence in the country’s recovering tourism market. Hilton now operates across various categories, including luxury, full-service, lifestyle, and select-service hotels, in over 250 destinations. The company reports that one in three hotel rooms under construction in China belongs to Hilton, with new hotels opening on average every 2.5 days. Recent openings include the Conrad Hotel in Chongqing, expanding Hilton’s luxury offerings, and several full-service hotels in major cities like Shanghai, Beijing, and Chengdu. The Hilton Garden Inn brand has now surpassed 100 hotels in China, while Hampton by Hilton operates over 420 hotels in more than 200 destinations.
