Arc’teryx opens first 4.0 design store in Macau at The Venetian
On January 15, Canadian outdoor brand Arc’teryx opened its first 4.0 design store in Macau at The Venetian Macao shopping mall. The 4,000-square-foot store is inspired by the “Cliff House” concept, blending the brand’s mountain heritage with Macau’s local culture. The design incorporates natural elements such as rocks and trees, reflecting the history of “Cliff House” — buildings made from stone, concrete, or wood, traditionally located on cliffs or steep slopes. Dating back to the mid-19th century, these structures provided essential services for climbers and played a key role in the development of outdoor sports. The store also integrates Portuguese-style tiles, emphasizing the cultural connection to the region. This location is Arc’teryx’s largest store in Macau and aims to offer customers an immersive outdoor experience.
