Anta Sports announced on December 24 that it has been included for the first time in the Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Markets Index, becoming the only Chinese footwear and apparel company to be listed in this index. This reflects the company’s leadership in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. The Dow Jones Sustainability Index selects companies that excel in ESG performance based on S&P Global’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). It is widely used by global investment institutions as a benchmark for sustainable investments and is one of the most prominent sustainability indices internationally. In 2024, over 13,000 companies globally participated in the evaluation. Anta Sports achieved outstanding results in the earlier CSA assessment, with a 30% increase in its score compared to the previous year, ranking in the top 6% of around 190 global textile, apparel, and luxury brands, and leading the Chinese footwear and apparel industry.
