De Beers has appointed Henry Jun Liu as its new Chief Marketing Officer to lead the brand’s global marketing strategy and support its growth objectives. Liu, with over 20 years of international marketing experience, including more than eight years in luxury jewelry, joins from Tiffany & Co, where he was senior director of global marketing and played a key role in high-profile events and exhibitions. Based in London, Liu will also serve on De Beers’ executive committee. CEO Céline Assimon expressed enthusiasm about Liu’s appointment, highlighting his global expertise, while Liu emphasized his commitment to enhancing De Beers’ brand narrative and elevating its jewelry collections on a global scale.
