Alo Yoga taps former Arc’teryx exec for China entry

Alo Yoga, the fast-growing North American yoga and activewear brand, has appointed Aurora Liu to spearhead its entry into the Chinese market. Liu, previously vice president of marketing at Arc'teryx, brings experience from Nike and Loewe. Under her leadership, Alo plans to open its first offline store in Shanghai by 2025, with locations being scouted in key retail hubs like Jing’an Kerry Centre. Already generating buzz in China through social media and strong Tmall sales, Alo aims to compete with Lululemon in the booming activewear market.
