China, Uzbekistan agree to 30-day visa-free travel
Uzbekistan and China have signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption for their citizens, it was reported on December 1. Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyar Saidov posted on the Telegram social platform, stating, “Today, we signed an agreement with our Chinese colleagues that allows citizens of both countries to travel visa-free for up to 30 days.” He further explained that this agreement is “another step toward closer cooperation, promoting trade and connections between the peoples of Uzbekistan and China.”
