Shanghai sees 178% surge in Korean tourism bookings
Data from South Korea’s largest travel agency shows that from November 1, when China announced a visa-free policy for South Korean ordinary passport holders, to November 21, group tour bookings to China increased by 110% compared to the previous period. Popular destinations such as Zhangjiajie and Changbai Mountain saw significant interest, along with cities like Qingdao in Shandong. Shanghai, in particular, experienced a remarkable 178% increase in bookings within three weeks of the policy announcement.
