Matin Kim plans 15-store Japan expansion by 2030

Matin Kim, a rising designer brand from South Korea, is set to open its first offline store in Japan in the first half of 2025, marking its entry alongside other Korean indie fashion brands. The brand has partnered with Musinsa, South Korea’s largest online fashion platform, under a five-year agreement to manage distribution and online sales in Japan. Matin Kim plans to open up to 15 stores in Japan over the next five years, with a target of 250 billion Korean won ($178 million) in combined sales during the partnership. The brand, known for its affordable and trendy designs, has already made its mark in China and Hong Kong.
