China’s Youngor set to buy French brand Bonpoint for $210M

According to French media La Lettre, French luxury children’s brand Bonpoint is set to be sold to Chinese fashion group Youngor for 200 million euros ($210 million). The two parties are reportedly in the final stages of negotiations. Bonpoint, founded in 1975, offers two main product lines: children’s clothing and skincare fragrances, with annual revenue of about 150 million euros ($157 million), 30% of which comes from skincare fragrances. Bonpoint operates over 100 stores worldwide, including 28 in mainland China. Youngor Group, which has interests in fashion, investment, and real estate, has previously invested in fashion brands like Undefeated, Helly Hansen and Alexander Wang, and beauty brand Forest Cabin.
