Asics sees double-digit sales growth across Asia

Japanese sportswear brand Asics has released its latest financial results, reporting a 17.3% YoY increase in revenue for the first three quarters to 525 billion Japanese yen ($3.5 billion). Gross profit grew 26.7% to 290 billion yen ($1.9 billion). By category, revenue from high-performance running products rose 13.7%, core high-performance sports products increased 6.3%, and revenue from apparel and equipment grew 4%. By region, Asics’ revenue in the US market increased 18.7% to 104 billion yen ($690 million), primarily driven by the growth in high-performance running and sports-style products, with sports-style products achieving more than double the revenue increase. The brand also saw double-digit growth in revenue across its markets in Japan, Europe, China, and other Asian regions.
