Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto has teamed up with Chinese actress Fan Bingbing to launch a co-branded collection for the 2024-2025 Fall/Winter season. The collaboration features hand-painted portraits of Fan by Japanese artist Uchida Suzume, which will be printed on various items, including clothing and handbags. The collection includes leather jackets made from Shangzhi calfskin, showcasing Uchida’s artwork. These jackets are designed to be thick yet soft, with a glossy, waterproof, and durable finish. Additionally, shirts and bags will feature detailed portraits of Fan, created with Uchida’s intricate brushwork. The collection will be available at The Stage Pop-Up at Isetan Shinjuku in Tokyo from November 13 to 19.
