Arc’teryx boosts Amer Sports’ holiday sales in China
Amer Sports CEO Zheng Jie revealed to investors and analysts in Shanghai on October 8 that the group’s brands, Arcteryx, Salomon, and Wilson, saw a 60% surge in revenue during the National Day holiday, driven primarily by initiatives that boosted holiday spending. Zheng noted that despite challenges in the domestic economy, the outdoor market continues to show strong resilience. In the second quarter ending June 30, Amer Sports revenue grew by 16% YoY to $994 million, with the Chinese market seeing a 53.8% jump to $289 million. Arc’teryx, in particular, contributed significantly to the group’s strong growth in China.
