Marriott to rebrand Zleep Hotels as Four Points Flex

Core Hospitality, a European hotel management company, has reached an agreement with Marriott International to rebrand 14 Zleep Hotels in Denmark under Marriott’s Four Points Flex by Sheraton brand, starting at the end of the year. Originally launched by Peter Haaber in 2003 and later acquired by H World Group through its 2020 purchase of Deutsche Hospitality, Zleep’s rebranding signals Marriott’s continued expansion in the Nordic market while highlighting a challenge for H World’s international growth ambitions. Despite this, H World, a leading Chinese hotel chain with over 10,000 hotels globally, remains focused on achieving world-class standards as part of its global expansion strategy, as emphasized by CEO Hui Jin at the 2024 TravelDaily Conference.
