After four years, Kim Jones is parting ways with Fendi, where he served as the womenswear designer. LVMH, Fendi’s parent company, announced the news on October 11, praising Jones for blending his modern, cross-cultural aesthetics with Fendi’s historic heritage and reinvigorating its ready-to-wear and couture collections. Jones, who also remains the designer for Dior Men, joined Fendi in 2020 and worked alongside Silvia Venturini Fendi, the brand’s creative director for accessories and menswear. A successor for Jones at Fendi will be announced in due course.
