New CEO for Coty China as revenue inches up

Coty China completed a business registration change, announcing that Chen Liyi has stepped down as the legal representative, chairman, and general manager, with Mathieu Dufresne taking over. According to data from Fashion Business Daily, the group’s Q4 revenue increased by nearly 1% YoY to $1.36 billion, mainly driven by Lacoste fragrance licensing sales and cautious inventory management by retailers. The group’s adjusted net loss for the quarter was $23.9 million, compared to a profit of $5.2 million in the same period last year. The group expects adjusted EBITDA to grow by 9% to 11% in fiscal year 2025, reaching between $1.186 billion and $1.208 billion.
