LVMH’s Arnault quietly invests in five AI startups in 2024
LVMH Group CEO Bernard Arnault, via his family office Aglaé Ventures, has made a series of investments in AI startups this year, with a total exceeding $300 million, though specific transaction amounts have not been disclosed. The largest investment so far this year was in Holistic AI, a company founded by former employees of Google's DeepMind AI division. Other investors include Accel Partners and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt. Since its establishment in 2017, Aglaé Ventures has made 153 investments, including 53 in the tech sector, 17 in consumer goods, 13 in business services, and 12 in financial services.
