Aesop opened its first store in Hangzhou at Hangzhou MixC Mall on July 31. Inspired by bridges, the store’s design incorporates local traditional elements such as Hangzhou’s bridge culture, oil-paper umbrellas, bamboo weaving, and Longjing tea into every detail. The main material used in the store is “Gaohu Stone” from Zhuji County outside Hangzhou.
