Swiss watch group Swatch, which owns brands like Omega, Blancpain, and jeweler Harry Winston, recently reported its first-half fiscal year performance. Sales declined 14.3% YoY to 3.45 billion Swiss francs ($3.77 billion), with operating profit of 204 million Swiss francs and net profit of 147 million ($160 million) Swiss francs. The group attributed the decline primarily to a significant drop in luxury goods demand in the Greater China region.
