Lanvin names Barbara Werschine as new CEO

Lanvin has appointed Barbara Werschine as chief executive officer to lead the fashion house’s push into the lifestyle market. Werschine, formerly CEO of cashmere specialist Eric Bompard, succeeds Andy Lew, who held the role since July 2025. She also absorbs duties previously handled by deputy general manager Siddhartha Shukla, who left in March. During her four-year tenure at Eric Bompard, Werschine modernized the brand and improved its financial performance. Her background includes serving as director of leather goods collections at Hermès, as well as key roles at Zadig & Voltaire, Celine, and Louis Vuitton.
