The Portas do Cerco checkpoint recorded over 50 million crossings, while Qingmao, Hengqin, and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge checkpoints each surpassed 10 million. Efficiency measures include lowering the age requirement for Hong Kong and Macau permanent residents to use each other’s e-channel services. Hengqin port’s passenger inspection channels will increase from 69 to 113, and Portas do Cerco will add 10 entry e-channels.
