British luxury jewelry brand Graff has opened “Diamonds Take Flight,” a jewelry exhibition at the former Shanghai City Hall building on the Bund, marking the brand’s 50-year exploration of the butterfly motif. The motif first appeared in Graff designs in 1975 and has since become one of its signature icons. The exhibition, running through May 31, 2026, features three contemporary butterfly collections — Classic Butterfly, Butterfly Silhouette, and Butterfly Embrace — along with 12 new high jewelry butterfly brooches incorporating the antique “en tremblant” trembling technique.
