French diamond jewelry house Messika has named Chinese actress Li Gengxi as its new brand ambassador. Li, who won the Golden Rooster Award for Best Actress in 2024 for her role in Viva La Vida, will appear in upcoming campaigns and attend international brand events. This month, she will also attend the 79th Cannes Film Festival with the film Nameless Girl, selected for the Critics’ Week section. Messika founder and artistic director Valérie Messika praised Li’s presence as a reflection of the brand’s contemporary feminine spirit. Founded in Paris in 2005, Messika is known for its signature sliding diamond designs. Li has 5.68 million Weibo followers.
