Italian luxury house Gucci has appointed Ningning, a member of K-pop girl group aespa, as its global brand ambassador, announced via her agency SM Entertainment on April 29. The Chinese-born artist said she has admired the brand since childhood and previously attended Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2026 show in Milan in February. Ningning’s dual-market appeal — connecting global K-pop fans and Chinese audiences — positions her as a strategic fit for Gucci’s push toward a younger, more urban aesthetic under creative director Demna, who staged his runway debut at the house earlier this year.
