Lululemon Athletica has appointed Esi Eggleston Bracey to its board of directors, effective April 28, 2026. Bracey, former Chief Growth and Marketing Officer at Unilever, joins as the retailer navigates a leadership transition and a proxy fight with founder Chip Wilson. Her appointment is part of a five-year “governance refreshment” introducing six independent directors, with Bracey joining ahead of incoming CEO Heidi O'Neill’s September arrival. Wilson, who owns 8.6% of the company, is pushing for a deeper board overhaul, including the election of three directors of his choosing. Bracey, who also serves on the Williams-Sonoma board, will stand for shareholder election on June 25.
