Max Mara will unveil its “Resort 2027” collection at Shanghai’s Long Museum West Bund on June 16, 2026, marking the latest in the brand’s series of museum-staged cruise shows. The show coincides with the opening of “The Max,” an exhibition curated by French fashion historian Olivier Saillard celebrating 75 years of Max Mara, open to the public June 17-28. Founded by collector couple Liu Yiqian and Wang Wei, the Long Museum West Bund occupies a converted industrial warehouse designed by architect Liu Yichun of Atelier Deshaus in a brutalist style. Liu gained global attention in 2015 when he paid $170.4 million for Modigliani’s Nu couché at Christie’s New York.
