Mark Thomas, design director of Parisian fashion house Carven, will leave the company at the end of this month to pursue other opportunities. Thomas, who staged two critically acclaimed collections in Paris, helped re-establish the brand’s identity and reposition Carven on the fashion stage, according to a company release. His most recent show featured tailored double-breasted jackets, tuxedos, and draped wide-pleated dresses.
Carven, owned by Chinese group Icicle, said the brand’s next steps will be announced later this year, with the next Paris show planned for the Spring/Summer 2027 season.
