The Cartier Women’s Initiative marked its 20th anniversary, announcing 30 fellows across nine regional awards and one Science & Technology Pioneer Award, including the program’s first-ever recipient from Nepal. Since its 2006 launch, the initiative has supported 330 women entrepreneurs across 66 countries with $14.1 million in grant funding. Among this year’s East Asia regional winners is Ye Ting of China, founder of BloomGEM, which develops bio-based dye solutions for fashion and beauty. First-place fellows receive $100,000; second place $60,000; third place $30,000. Applications for the 2027 edition open April 16, 2026.
