MCM marks 50 years with new logo and Icons Reinvented initiative
MCM is marking its 50th anniversary with a new logo and “Icons Reinvented,” a year-long initiative featuring updated versions of its most iconic designs. Founded in Munich in 1976, the brand has refreshed pieces including the Stark Backpack and Liz Shopper with lightweight, modular designs aligned with its “Smart Luxury” concept. Chief Visionary Officer Sungjoo Kim said the company’s heritage “belongs to the future.” Celebrations are planned across Europe, the U.S., and Asia, culminating at Oktoberfest in Munich.
