French luxury group Kering is bringing the work of Vivian Maier to Shanghai in an exhibition titled “Unseen Works,” open at the Fotografiska imaging center from March 13 to June 28. Supported by Kering’s Women in Motion program and curated by Anne Morin, the show features over 200 original photographs, including never-before-seen images from Maier’s Asia travels. The Shanghai edition coincides with the centenary of the legendary street photographer’s birth; she secretly took more than 150,000 photographs while working as a nanny in Chicago, with her work discovered in 2007.
