Audi marks F1 debut with Shanghai pop-up

Audi is running a free pop-up activation on Wujiang Road in Shanghai’s Jing’an district through March 15, promoting its debut as an official F1 team. Open daily from 10am to 10pm, visitors enter by scanning a QR code and receive branded helmet fridge magnets. The installation features semi-open racing displays, facade ads, and a 4D cinema showcasing Audi’s motorsport heritage. Audi entered F1 by acquiring the Sauber team — forming the Audi Revolut F1 Team — and developing its first in-house car, the R26. A Weibo campaign invites users to share F1 memories for a chance to win co-branded Adidas caps.
