Maison Margiela will show its fall 2026 collection in Shanghai on April 1, kicking off a “brand moment” spanning nearly two weeks across four Chinese cities. Titled “Martin Margiela/Folders,” the initiative includes exhibitions in Shanghai, Beijing, and Chengdu, plus an immersive experience in Shenzhen where locals can transform garments with white paint. The brand will share all event-related folders via Dropbox, opening its archives globally. CEO Gaetano Sciuto said the effort aims to educate China’s market about the brand's values. Maison Margiela entered China in 2019 and has 26 stores.
