Prada cuts ties with over 200 suppliers over labor issues
Italian luxury group Prada has terminated relationships with over 200 of its Italian suppliers and subcontractors following a five-year compliance audit launched in 2020. The company conducted more than 850 on-site inspections, uncovering severe labor law violations, including factory dormitories and issues with health, safety, and waste management. The affected suppliers represent more than a quarter of those audited. Prada currently works with about 1,000 suppliers in northern and central Italy.
