During British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s Beijing visit Thursday, China agreed to allow British citizens visa-free travel to China for stays up to 30 days. Starmer called the move significant for UK businesses expanding in China, facilitating operations and job creation. As part of a new bilateral partnership, both nations agreed to conduct a feasibility study for a potential bilateral services agreement. The partnership targets healthcare, financial and professional services, legal services, and education sectors. Britain currently exports approximately 13 billion British pounds ($16.51 billion) in services to China annually.
