L’Occitane eyes US IPO after Hong Kong delisting
L’Occitane Group is considering a U.S. initial public offering as early as this year, according to Bloomberg citing informed sources. The group completed its privatization and delisting from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2024. Preliminary discussions are underway with J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley regarding the potential listing. L'Occitane went public in Hong Kong in 2010 and delisted in 2024 at a valuation of approximately 6 billion euros ($6.47 billion). While revenue has grown recently, profit margins face pressure, and its largest market has shifted from China to the Americas.
